April 11, 2010 Wow, ten days since I told all you two-leggers what’s up at our house.  Linda had a birthday last Thursday and Trish and Bodi came and stayed for a few days. I loved seeing Bodi and Trish-Ben was OK at first but then he got jealous or something and went after Bodi a few times. Of course, I had to get into the act because, as you all know, I am the boss around here and I can’t have anything going on without me being involved.

Linda and Trish and our friend Carole Dubel (she talks to me and I talk to her) went to the park and introduced Ben to Bodi.  We all walked around and I guess they thought everything was OK because then we went home and I got to play with Bodi when Ben was inside.  Then I had to go in and Ben got to come out.  I have no idea what the heck the humans had in mind playing musical dogs.  We all walked together and formed a pretty cool pack (I am the leader as you know).

Linda seems pretty upset about Ben and Bodi not getting along and she and Trish kept switching dogs around…Bodi just wanted to go home so we didn’t play much.

Today it’s hot so I think I will just hang around all day.

Have a quiet and relaxing time at your house too.

Until next time,

April 1, 2010 I hear it’s April Fool’s Day today, so Happy April Fool’s Day.  I don’t have any idea why I am saying that but Linda says I should pull a prank on Ben.  I fooled her…I pulled a prank on her last night. When she came home from work she picked up Ben and me and let us ride with her to the mailbox. I got into the front seat and rode shotgun. She tried to get me into the back but I wouldn’t budge. I sat there tall and proud like I was checking out my property.  It was fun, but she says I can’t sit there when we go somewhere farther cause it’s too dangerous.

We had a big walk today and Ben and I are being “trained.”  I don’t like the Halty she puts over my mouth but I get a cookie every time I do so I guess it’s not so bad. I hope Linda doesn’t think I will tolerate that when we walk? We’ll see, won’t we?

Bodi is coming for a visit.  I am stoked (I learned that from Rich!) Ben met him last year and didn’t like him, but I love him and I can’t wait. Plus, I get to see Trish too.  YIPPEE!  Ben should just chill…Bodi is cool and he won’t be taking Ben’s place.  I think Ben is still insecure from being tossed out of the truck when his former people didn’t want him any more.

Well, time for a nap. Have a few laughs today.

Bye for now,

March 29, 2010 Linda has been working more lately because one of the people she works with isn’t well.  He apparently is taking a whole bunch of anti-anxiety drugs.  Linda can’t understand why he takes pharmaceuticals when he is a natural products specialist.  Curious, is what she says.

Anyway, Linda just got a Notebook and has been sitting outside with Ben and me every morning.  Maybe I’ll get to use it one day?  We both really like having extra time with her.  Today she wrote a story about a poor dog who died from eating a toy he found in his house.  It had belonged to one of the kids and the dog died.  Pretty scary stuff.  Linda is VERY careful, not only about what we eat, but with what we play every day.  I think we would both love to tear apart a stuffed toy but we will never have one created for a kid, that’s for sure.

Be safe and enjoy this great weather!

Bye for now,

March 12, 2010 HOORAY! Linda took Ben and me out to the desert for a good run. We had a great time and the desert is in full bloom…everything is green…just in time for St. Patrick’s Day (whatever that is). Linda said when she was a kid in New Jersey all of the Italian kids wore black to school on St. Patrick’s Day. Ben is black…did they wear fur coats?

Anyway, I am happy that we got to have such a fun run and enjoyed the warm temperatures and sunny skies. I like it when Linda is home.

Bye for now,

March 11, 2010 YEAH…Linda will be home for the next two days and it’s not raining.  Yippee.  Ben and I have been outside 4 times already today…we played and just laid in the sun.  Life is good.  Treats are good too!

Bye for now,

March 10, 2010 It’s NOT raining outside but Linda won’t let Ben and me out.  She says we have to wait until the guys who mow the lawn leave, but they’re not here yet…it’s after 1 o’clock…where are they?  I NEED to play.  Can I come to your house?

Bye for now,

Rosie  }:•D

March 8, 2010 Can I tell you just how bored I am?  It is raining outside…really coming down…Linda says it’s raining cats and dogs.  If there were cats coming down Ben and I would be able to chase them…if there were dogs we could play with them. Today, all I can do is sleep.  I am not tired, I am bored.  Maybe I’ll get a cookie.

Bye for now,

Rosie – I’m so glad you got a little brother. I think you need someone to play with. And you can teach him so much — like — He’s safe now. And he will be taken care of. And he will have food at every meal.

I know you will be a great big sister. I can’t wait to meet Maverick.
